Edith Piaf（1915－1963）是法國國寶級女歌手。 她的著名辛酸情歌反映了她悲痛的一生，她的歌聲令人心碎。她最為人熟悉的名作包括"La Vie En Rose"（1946）、"Milord"（1959）及 "Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien"（1960）。

電影 La Vie En Rose （法國名為 La Mome）道出 Eidth Piaf 傳奇的一生，並由 Marion Cotillard（曾參演 A Good Year、Big Fish、A Very Long Engagement、Love Me If You Dare）飾演小雲雀。為了令電影中的表演不失去 Eidth 獨有的聲線，導演 Olivier Dahan（前作包括：Crimson Rivers 2: Angels Of The Apocalypse、Tom Thumb）用上了多首原有版本歌曲。

電影的配樂則交由曾贏得3個英國影藝學院音樂獎與3個Ivor Novello獎的英國著名作曲家 Christopher Gunning 負責。他而鋼琴、手風琴及管弦樂來帶出電影的悲情氣氛。

原聲大碟亦收錄了在片中為女主角代唱的 Jil Aigrot 的3首作品。
