Air Release <b><i>Pocket Symphony</i></b>

French electronic pop duo, Nicolas Godin and JB Dunckel (aka Darkel), are set to release the follow-up to 2004 album Talkie Walkie on March 5. The new album, Pocket Symphony, features vocal contributions from Jarvis Cocker and Neil Hannon of The Divine Comdey and was recorded and produced by Nigel Godrich over the last year and a half.

Nicolas Godin recently learned to play some Japanese instruments, that are the koto (a Japanese floor harp) and the three-string, banjo-like shamisen, from an Okinawa master musician. Those instruments are featured on the new album.
