Oasis will final release the third and final boxset of their Chasing The Sun: 1993-1997 series, Be Here Now: Chasing The Sun Edition, on October 7.
For the super deluxe boxset, it will include the remastered album on CD1 and vinyl LP, b-sides and rare unreleased tracks on CD2 and the band's Mustique demos recorded on the Caribbean Island in 1996 on CD3, plus a 12" white label vinyl sampler of the Mustique demos. It also includes hardback coffee table book with new sleeve notes and exclusive vinyl.
The band also share a new Noel Gallagher remix of the album opener and first single "D'You Know What I Mean?" which comes as instant download with pre-orders. The Chief says, "As the years went by I'd started to accept that the songs on Be Here Now were in fact insanely long... too long! Someone (I can't remember who) had the idea that we re-visit, re-edit the entire album for posterity's sake. We got as far as the first track before we couldn't be arsed anymore and gave up... it does sound fucking mega though!" Even NG knows the album is way too long.
