Ride Reunited!

Andy Bell, Laurence Colbert, Mark Gardener and Steve Queralt reunited as Ride after their split in 1996, as announced earlier (UK time, November 18) by the recently reopened Creation Records.
The band will tour UK, Europe and Canada starting from May 2015.
Speaking to NME, Andy Bell says:
It's going to be really cool. As we were all still friends, we always thought when the time was right we'd do it. And now the time is right.
Frontman Mark Gardener adds:
People bought our records first time round, but our music has grown in significance since we've been away... We want to give the people what they want. We'd be idiots to go out and play a new album, but that's not to say we wouldn't make new music.
There have been many speculations about Oasis and Ride reunion since Liam Gallagher announced the split of Beady Eye, the band he formed with members of Oasis expect his brother Noel Gallagher. Since Noel Gallagher stated no Oasis reunion at the moment (and he is going to release his second solo album in Spring 2015), we are thrilled that at least we get the Ride back on!
