Keren Ann Announces New Album

Keren Ann will release her fifth studio album, Keren Ann, on April 23 in Europe by Capitol Records and May 8 in the US by Metro Blue/Blue Note.

The 9-track album finds Keren exploring new sonic dimensions. "On this record, everything that has to do with sound engineering, filling the space with various elements, was really fun to do," says Keren. "There was more post-production. Recording things - like a choir in Iceland - and then taking them home and seeing how I could twist them around."

The first single from Keren Ann is "Lay Your Head Down". The album was produced by Keren Ann, mixed by Joe Barresi (Tool, QOTSA, Alanis Morisette), and mastered by Bob Ludwig. The tracklist of the album is as follows.
