Radiohead Releases New Album In 5 Days

After posting on their official blog saying "Thank you for waiting", Radiohead announced the release of their 8th album The King Of Limbs will be released on February 19 (yes, in 5 days) digitally on MP3 and WAV, and later released on physical newspaper album on May 9. No tracklisting has been announced but that news has already blown us away.

Perhaps the world's first Newspaper album, this version of The King Of Limbs comprising:

- Two clear 10" vinyl records in a purpose-built record sleeve.
- A compact disc.
- Many large sheets of artwork, 625 tiny pieces of artwork and a full-colour piece of oxo-degradeable plastic to hold it all together.
- The Newspaper Album comes with a digital download that is compatible with all good digital media players.
- The Newspaper Album will be shipped on Monday 9th May 2011 you can, however, enjoy the download on Saturday 19th February 2011.
- Shipping is included in the prices shown.

The price of newspaper album + MP3 is £30.00 / €36.00 / US$48.00, and that of newspaper album + WAV is £33.00 / €39.00 / US$53.00.

The digital release is available on:

- MP3 version is a 320K constant bit rate file, which is priced at £6.00 / €7.00 / US$9.00.
- WAV version is a full CD quality uncompressed digital audio file, which is priced at £9.00 / €11.00 / US$14.00.
