Black Box Recorder Issue Final Statement

The beloved Black Box Recorder will release their final two recordings on May 6. Formed by former Auteurs frontman Luke Haines in 1998, with vocalist Sarah Nixey and former Jesus & Mary Chain member John Moore, Black Box Recorder have released three albums (England Made Me [1998], The Facts Of Life [2000] and Passionoia [2003]). Their last outing was "Christmas Number One", a 2007 Christmas song released jointly with Art Brut.The final statement says:
