Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Give Birth to <b><i>Baby 81</i></b>

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club have revealed that their new album Baby 81, named after an infant who, following 2004's tsunami, was claimed by nine different mothers before reuniting with its own family, will be released on May 1 via RCA Records.

Robert Levon Been said during an interview with NME, "It's the first album where we went into the studio knowing exactly what we wanted and we've been able to record when we feel it, instead of when we're supposed to feel it, which is a nice luxury."
