"Jimmy McGee is the grandson of a pirate king. Eleanor McGee would have been a Russian princess were it not for the Nazis. Rebecca is the daughter of a mad professor and an Italian nun. Graeme is a full blood gypsy... of times known as the Django of the bass."
The band have released a few EP's and their debut album, L'Appropriation Bourgoisie De La Bobby McGee's, was released in July 2009.
On the same night, you will also see a fashion show by Dig For Victory! by Eleanor Callaghan, who turns vintage fabric from curtains, tablecloths, napkins, bedspreads, 80s sportswear into nice and beautiful one-off retro-inspired dresses and jackets. This fabulous event is once again presented by Songs For Children, who brought us Theoretical Girl last year.
