The Killers Cancel Asian Tour

Shortly after the Killers stated in an interview with Australian media AAP that they will go on an "hiatus" after their current Asian and Australian tour, the band have announced that they have cancelled their concerts in Singapore, Beijing, Hong Kong, Manila, Tokyo and Seoul. It is not known if the dates in Australia have been affected.In the press release, it says the cancellation is "due to unforeseen circumstances" and "the band deeply apologises to their fans and hope to reschedule their shows in these cities soon."
In the meantime full refunds will be available from HK Ticketing via point of purchase from January 28. For refund details, please see below:
Tickets Purchased by Credit Card
Full refund will be automatically deposited to the same Credit Card account used for ticket purchase within 30 days.
Tickets Purchased by Cash
1. Please bring along the concert tickets to the HK Ticketing Box Office at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre during business hours on or after January 28, 2010 to process a refund.
2. Business Hours: Monday - Saturday, 11am - 7pm and closed on Sundays and Public Holidays
3. An immediate full refund in cash will be made at the Box Office counter upon submission of a completed Refund Application Form with concert ticket(s). The ticket holders must sign to acknowledge receipt of the refund.
4. Any Cash Refund requests received after February 26, 2010 will not be processed.

The Killers have issued a revised statement stating that the unforeseen circumstances involve a serious illness of a close family member. The band deeply apologises to their fans and hopes to reschedule their shows in these cities soon, and hope you understand and respect the band's privacy at this difficult time. At this time, the band's Australian appearances remain scheduled as planned.
