Jerry Fuchs 1974-2009

Jerry Fuchs, drummer for several American bands, has died on Sunday morning (November 8). He and a friend were trapped in a broken elevator in between floors in Brooklyn. The two opened the elevator doors and tried to jump to the nearest floor, but Fuchs did not make the jump and fell down the elevator shaft. He was 34 years old.

Jerry Fuchs has been drummer for several groups like !!!, the Juan MacLean, Maserati and Turing Machine and also played live drums with LCD Soundsystem and MSTRKRFT.
