The Beatles Release Limited Edition USB Boxset

Apple Corps Ltd and EMI Music announced yesterday (November 3) that the Beatles will release the entire stereo catalogue on a limited edition USB boxset. This is the band's first real digital distribution and the USB drive will be released on December 7 (worldwide) and 8 (US), and is limited to 30000 pieces.

The green metal apple shaped 16GB USB drive will contain all 14 remastered stereo titles on 320kbps DRM-free MP3's and FLAC (44.1kHz 24bit) audio formats, plus the 13 mini-documentaries in MPEG4 video format, complete booklet and sleeve art for each album viewable via the Flash player.

However, the Beatles's catalogue will not be available via digital stores yet, and Apple Corps Ltd stated that the remastered vinyls are in the work, but no release date has been set.
