Underworld, Hong Kong, 2009-09-30

The legendary electronic band Underworld brought an excellent two-hour non-stop performance last mid-night (September 30 into October 1) at AsiaWorld-Expo Hall 10.Before they came on the stage, a local act and Fantastic Plastic Machine from Japan spinned the wheel. Fantastic Plastic Machine's DJ lasted for about 100 minutes long and sometimes he threw in Kraftwerk's "Tour De France", Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and Coldplay's "Fix You".
Underworld took the stage at midnight. Rick Smith and Darren Price arrived the stage first and Karl Hyde arrived later. The lightning and visual were stunning and they have been playing non-stop, including "Cowgirl", "Push Upstairs", and some new songs. Giant white balloons were dropped before the band launched in their well-known 90s classic "Born Slippery". Karl Hyde told the audience before their last song, "Thank you for a great night! Tonight is our first night in China. Tonight is our first night in Hong Kong. Thanks for waiting!"
