Thom Yorke Announces New Band

While releasing a new 12" and download single "Feeling Pulled Apart By Horses"/"The Hollow Earth" and contributed "All For The Best" for the compilation Ciao My Shining Star: The Songs Of Mark Mulcahy, Thom Yorke has just (September 29) announced on Radiohead's official site that he has formed a new band and they are set to play materials from his debut album, The Eraser, and some news songs live.

The band consists of Red Hot Chili Peppers' bassist Flea, Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, drummer Joey Waronker and Brazilian instrumentalist Mauro Refosco. They are going to play Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, USA on October 4 and 5.

Thom wrote, "we don't really have a name and the set will not be very long cuz ..well ...we haven't got that much material yet!"
