Kraftwerk <b><i>The Catalogue</i></b> Finally Arrives

In 2004, a promo boxset of all 8 Kraftwerk's EMI albums got its limited release. The boxset contained the digitally remastered albums with different cover artwork, and is called 12345678: The Catalogue. Since then, there were rumours on when the boxset will get its commercial release.Finally, EMI has announced the boxset will be released on October 5 worldwide and October 6 in the US and Canada. The boxset includes 2009(?) digital remasters and expanded artworks. Its content, which influenced nearly every dance and electronic acts in the last four decades, includes Autobahn (1974), Radio-Activity (1975), Trans-Europe Express (1977), The Man-Machine (1978), Computer World (1981), Electric Cafe (1986), The Mix (1991) and Tour De France (2003).
The German language version, Der Katalog, will be released on October 2.
They will be released on CD boxset containing 8 CDs in mini-vinyl card wallet packaging, plus individual large format booklets) and digital downloads. Each album will be released individually on CDs (presented in special slipcases featuring newly expanded artwork, including many previously unseen images all of which have been reproduced to the highest technical standards) and heavyweight vinyl LPs (with large format booklets).

However, the band's first three albums, Kraftwerk (1970), Kraftwerk 2 (1972) and Ralf And Florian (1973) plus the Organisation (Ralf and Florian's former band) album Tone Float (1970) are now included in this remasters project.
