Sigur Ros has confirmed the detail of their fifth album Með Suð Í Eyrum Við Spilum Endalaust. The title can be translated into English as "with a buzz in our ears we play endlessly". The album will be released on June 23 via EMI Records and pre-order begins on June 2. The album, produced by the band with Flood, features 11 new songs written by Sigur Ros and was recorded in New York City (Sear Sound Studios), London (Abbey Road), Reykjavík (Sundlaugin in Alafoss) and Havana in Cuba. String section is provided by long-time collaborator Amiina. You can also see London Oratory Boy's Choir and a 70-piece orchestra by London Sinfonietta on "Ára Bátur".

It is their first album to be recorded partly outside of Iceland and feature vocalist Jónsi's vocals in English on one track. In addition, one of the album's tracks is sung without lyrics ("Hopelandic") and the rest of the tracks are sung in Icelandic.
