The 80s legend, Duran Duran, is back and played PopTV Arena last Saturday (April 12). This is the third time the band playing in Hong Kong (the last two were in 1989 and 1994). An intro of Theme from A Clockwork Orange started playing and the band kicked off the show with "The Valley" from their latest album Red Carpet Massacre. When the band began to play their 1982 hit, "Hungry Like The Wolf", it started to rain and thundering. Many fans left the venue at this point but some did return later with plastic bags or cardboard as hand-made hats.

Before "Falling Down", frontman Simon Le Bon said, "We have written the next song with our new best friend, Justin Timberlake." and led the band into the song. Speaking about the weather before "Come Undone", Simon joked, "I hope the weather didn't affect you. You hope you are not standing on 50 inches of mud, cos that would be Glastonbury."

Simon's humour did not end just here, later on, he said, "The next one is about a guy in black tuxedo and black tie. And I'm not talking about Jackie Chan." The band then performed their James Bond theme song, "A View To Kill". "Wild Boys" put the main set to an end at about 22:05 and the band returned a minute later for an ecnore. "If we are going to play one more song, which one do you think we should play?" asked Simon. The audience replied by shouting "'Rio'!" Simon said "Ok, you got it!" and brought the show to its last number.
