The Last Shadow Puppets "The Age Of The Understatement" Video

Alex Turner (of Arctic Monkeys) and Miles Kane (of The Rascals) are The Last Shadow Puppets. The Last Shadow Puppets will release the debut single "The Age Of The Understatement" on April 14 on 7" and digital download. The debut album of the same name will be released on April 21 via Domino Records.

Directed by Romain Gavras, the debut video is now available on the official site www.theageoftheunderstatement.com in widescreen format (from March 5), or you can watch it below. The video was shot in Moscow and includes ice skating, an Orthodox priest, Soviet tanks and a chorus of Russian Soldiers. The song itself is well made and does make us at Tube Office excited about this new project.

The Last Shadow Puppets recorded the songs at Black Box studios near Nantes, France in two weeks during the summer of 2007, with producer and drummer James Ford. Here is the tracklisting of the album.
