The Cavern Marks 50th Anniversary

Liverpool club The Cavern, one of the first venues the Beatles played, is to celebrate its 50th anniversary with the release of a compilation album. The Cavern - The Most Famous Club In The World will be released on August 20.

The three disc album features both the Beatles and the Rolling Stones along with Queen, the Kinks, Elton John, the Who, Oasis and more. An unreleased live version of "The View From The Afternoon" by Arctic Monkeys will also be included on the album.
