Secret Superstar 2017

On the surface, Secret Superstar is a story about an Indian girl, Insia Malik's dream coming true, but it is in fact a feminism film for India society. There are often reports of women being abused in India, and Insia's mother is also a victim of domestic abuse. While chasing her dream, Insia tries to help her mother escaping their tragic fate. Hopefully, this film would help building up respect of women in India and prevent more domestic abuse. Like most Indian films, of course good things would come to those good people, making Secret Superstar another enjoyable feel-good film.
