Ghost In The Shell 2017

A visually stunning film that paints a much more beautiful cityscape than the one we are living in. The action sequences are so amazing, and Scarlett Johansson is fierce. The film also faithfully recreates some classic scenes from the 1995 original anime film. The struggle between human soul and machine body is touched on but should give more time to develop, where as the original anime dives in about consciousness, AI and evolution. Yet, there are still lots of subtext to offer the audience to digest.
