Godzilla: King Of The Monsters 2019

Why do we like monster movies? Because we like to watch giant monsters fight, and Godzilla: King Of The Monsters does an immersive job for that. For the third entry of MonsterVerse, Godzilla: King Of The Monsters brings Toho's 4 legendary giant monsters to the big screen for an epic fight.

In Godzilla (2014), many audience criticised that Gojira himself appears on screen too late in the film. This time, there is no shortage of monster scenes and the timing of monster battles and human narratives are well balanced. Godzilla: KotM pays tribute to the long history of the Toho monster franchise, using original Japanese theme music for Godzilla dn Mothra, and putting in tons of Easter eggs in the film. Godzilla: KotM also does something what normal giant monster films fail to do so, it brings an immersive experience to the monster battles by putting the human characters on the ground so audience can have first-hand immersive experience for what it is like to survive a massive monster fight.

We cannot wait for Godzilla Vs. Kong to happen. If only 2020 can come sooner...
