Watchmen is one of the most popular graphic novels and its film adaptation is also one of the most anticipated films of 2009.

Empire Magazine has posted the first teaser trailer on their website. You can just click here to watch it.

The first thought on the clip is, the birth of Dr. Manhattan and the glass palace on Mars are stunning. The Comedian, second Silk Spectre, second Nite Owl and Rorschach look very familiar to their comics origins. But for Ozymandias, it seems Matthew Goode is too young for the sophisticated character.

Anyway, Watchmen is worth the wait! We look forward to how director Zack Snyder put down the finale of the story (if you cannot wait, Watchmen is on trade paperbacks) on films.
