MCL Cinemas welcomes the opening of its 16th cinema, MCL The One Cinema, last Friday (September 1) under the typhoon, and we were invited to the press tour the day before. Same as the previous cinema at the same building, MCL The One Cinema is comprised of 6 houses across 3 levels, providing a total of 831 seats. All houses are installed with NEC 4K RB Laser projection system, KRIX professional speakers and Dolby 7.1 surround sound system, with 3D projection system in Houses 2, 4 and 6. The new cinema is designed in purple theme colour to give a mysterious and romantic atmosphere.

To celebrate the grand debut of MCL The One Cinema, there are special discount price of HK$38 for 2-People Set (1x medium popcorn and 2x medium soft drinks) from September 4 - 30. MCL MAX members will also receive discount code to enjoy special discount price of HK$45 for a single 2D movie ticket from September 8 - 30.

MCL The One Cinema will also run a series of special screening titled “A Date At The One”, and the first in the series is 4K restored screening of Days Of Being Wild on September 24 and tickets are now available on MCL website.
