Kino Industries is prepping more interactive films, including two new interactive films for Asian markets, following their success in Late Shift. Interactive film Late Shift was launched in cinemas in 2016, and caught the eyes of various studios.
Firstly, Kino Industries and 20th Century Studios are developing an interactive film for Choose Your Own Adventure, adapted from the children's gamebooks of the same name published between 1979 and 1998.
Kino Industries and Steven Spielberg's Amblin Partners are developing an interactive film directed by Alexandre Aja (Crawl).
Late Shift director Tobias Weber is also developing a new interactive film, Riot.
In Asia, Kino Industries is also developing an interactive film, The Golden Eyes, and an interactive TV series, Night City, in China. Thailand studio Artop Production is co-producing with Kino an interactive horror film, Ghost Radio, which is inspired by true events, and the horror story starts with a midnight call.
