The much anticipated Kimetsu No Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-Hen, the first anime feature film of the popular manga/anime, Kimetsu No Yaiba, has set its Japan release date to be October 16.
Kimetsu No Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-Hen continues where the 26-episode anime series left off, Tanjiro and company have aboarded the train Mugen Ressha, while a new demon is lurking in the shadow. The film will cover the storyline in manga's collected volumes 7 and 8 (chapters 54 - 69). 19 collected volumes of Japanese edition have been released so far, with volume 20 originally planned for May 1, but will be delayed to May 13.
Kimetsu No Yaiba follows Tanjiro in his quest to cure his sister Nezuko, who has become part-demon part-human after being a lone survivor after a demon killed the rest of their family. They immediately encounter a demon slayer Giyu Tomioka, who recruits Tanjior to become a demon slayer.
There is no Hong Kong release date yet for the anime feature.
