HKIFF44 Postponed, Cine Fan 2020 April/May Edition Cancelled

Hong Kong International Film Festival Society (HKIFFS) has announced yesterday evening (February 13) that the annual Hong Kong International Film Festival (in its 44th run this year, HKIFF44), originally scheduled for March 24 to April 6, and the accompained 18th Hong Kong - Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF18), originally scheduled for March 24 to 27, will be postponsed to summer. HAF18 will take place on August 27 to 29, while dates for HKIFF44 are yet to be announced.

Additionally, the Cine Fan 2020 April/May edition will be cancelled.

The decision has been made in response to the recent novel Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in Hong Kong and neighbouring region.
