<strong><em>Blade Runner</em></strong> Sequel Officially Titled <strong><em>Blade Runner 2049</em></strong>

Warner Bros Films announced on Facebook tonight, that the sequel to Ridley Scott's 1982 film Blade Runner is officially titled Blade Runner 2049. The sequel is scheduled to open in US on October 6, 2017, 35 years after the original film, and it looks like the story will take place 30 years in movie time after that one.

Harrison Ford reprises his role as Rick Deckard, and also starring Ryan Gosling. The film is directed by Denis Villeneuve (Sicario, Arrival).
