Warner Bros Films has revealed the first photo of Henry Cavil as Superman yesterday, but somehow he has a funny haircut...

Anyway, DC Comic's blog - Source also revealed the cast of the film. Joining Henry Cavil, the Man of Steel, will be Amy Adams as Daily Planet journalist Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as her editor-in-chief, Perry White. Diane Lane and Kevin Costner will star as Clark Kent's adoptive parents, Martha and Jonathan Kent.

Squaring off against the superhero are two other surviving Kryptonians, the villainous General Zod, played by Michael Shannon, and Faora, Zod's evil partner, played by Antje Traue. Julia Ormond will play Lara Lor-Van, Superman's mother, and Russell Crowe will play Jor-El, Superman's father.
