<strong><em>Avatar 2 & 3</em></strong> Are Official

20th Century Fox and James Cameron announced few days ago (October 27) that the sequels to the highest-grossing film of all time, Avatar, are set for Christmases 2014 and 2015. The man behind the creation of the Pandora world will be directing and shooting is expected to start next year. It seems like we will be having 4 fantasy Christmases since Peter Jackson's Hobbit films will be coming out in Christmases 2012 and 2013.

Meanwhile, the original film will get another extended cut, Collector's Extended Cut, on the forthcoming 3blu-ray & 3DVD extended collector's edition release. This new cut will be 16 minutes longer than the original theatrical release.
