Jet Li Goes Into <b><i>Ocean Paradise</i></b>

Ocean Paradise is based on the real-life story of young director Xue Xiao Lu. On Wednesday (August 26), a press conference was held in Beijing to announce the kick-off of shooting of Ocean Paardise. Jet Li will be playing the role of a father, Chinese rising actor Wen Zhang will play his son. Taiwan actress Kwai Lun Mei will play a circus clown who met the father and son during a performance at an aquarium in Qingdao.

Jet Li expressed that it was the script of the film which attracted him to play the role. He said that the script can let the audience to truly feel that, even in ordinary times, life can be better if each of us can give out a bit of our love. On the other hand, when actress Kwai Lun Mei was confirmed for her role as the clown, she started her training for performing like a clown. She hopes to perfect the acting and meet the director's requirement.

The film is expect to open in China and Hong Kong cinemas in Spring 2010.
