Girlhood 2014

Marieme, 16, lives her life as succession of prohibition. She is oppressed by her family setting, failing at school and tired of the boys law in the neighbourhood, her life changes dramatically after meeting a group of three free-spirited girls. She changes her name, her dress code, and quits school, hoping that her new life will lead her to more freedom and allow her to live her life the way she wants to.
