Plot Synopsis
Five bloggers devote their websites to food. They - a former model, rap mogul, software developer, a son from a rich family and a white collar working girl - take on the most enviable job in the world to become foodies who crisscross the globe to sample international cuisines, then post their reviews and pictures online. They favour top Michelin star restaurants like Noma in Denmark and the Arzak in Spain, and Hong Kong restaurants Amber and Bo Innovation also tickle their fancy. They are not above tasting street food either, and their love of food is so great that one person achieved a record of trying 67 different dishes within 48 hours. In judging the quality of food, these culinary experts consider texture, ingredients, cooking skills, presentation as well as the ambience of restaurants. With their discerning thumbs up and thumbs down, the bloggers attract countless followers, making them both loved and feared by restaurateurs, and the battle of wits and taste buds between foodies and chefs are brilliantly played out on dining tables across the world.
