Plot Synopsis
An atmospheric film noir that finds a pair of South American immigrants working illegally in Spain, it begins naturalistically before venturing into thriller territory. José María is a builder,
while his lover Rosa is a housekeeper for a wealthy family. But when José María commits a hot-headed crime, Rosa hides him within the attic of her employers' huge mansion. José María thus becomes a captive and a voyeur of the racial and class divide.
